Clean & Green India
Started in 1984, these neighbourhood cleanup programmes have witnessed the participation of thousands of people. This is what has made the country much cleaner today. We have created community washrooms and bathrooms.
Volunteers have educated street vendors in major cities. Guruji has worked incessantly on the streets of Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Pune, Shimoga and hundreds more, for years.
Millions of trees have been planted in urban areas. Millions are being grown on agricultural plots for agro forestry; also in full swing is the creation of organic manure from the field itself instead of depending on chemical fertilisers, in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra. This is brought about by making use of the unique teachings of Zero Budget Farming as enunciated by Subhash Palekar.

Community Living
Community Living
Healthy lifestyle: This is to be achieved by living in fresh air, eating together healthy foods, practising group exercise and yoga etc.
Joyful living in togetherness : This is brought about by living together, playing together, eating together, as well as by enabling children to work, eat and learn together in a gurukulam.
Global cooling: This is effected by sharing common resources, massive afforestation and pursuing extensive horticulture. Sadhana : Sadhana is possible through regular SSY and advanced programmes, through meditation centres.
Seva : Seva is done through rural development by way of free medical facilities to villagers, free school, free SSY, ISP to neighbouring villages.
All in all, Community Living will bring a lot of economic advantage and a big change in the way of living, enriching us physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Guruji’s Message
Community members must live with the spirit of community, always sharing the resources they have for mutual good.
Members share the food together as a common minimum programme as that is the only occasionon which everybody is on a single platform. The growth and development of children with the feeling that they are a part of a large community and expanding their vision to include the whole world is an important part of the culture of a community.
Older people being looked after like parents of the community is another important aspect of the culture.
Individual wealth naturally increases with community sharing. It is impossible for people living in nuclear families to imagine such great wealth as compared to when they are part of a large community.
The community way of living and conduct is a very attractive alternative and there will be constant rush for enrollment to enlarge the community. This is due to prosperity, kindness and willingness to share in the community, and due to active invitation to newcomers to join and enjoy unprecedented prosperity. The co-operative society owns the land, but the running of the place is taken care of by the co-operative society and the community.
There will always be enough for everyone when one follows the community way of living. Hundreds of communities will spring up on their own.
The more the number of people wanting to join the community, the more is the strength of the community.
All the members of the community train themselves to be examples in sharing their individual wealth and expertise for the common good of mankind.
Community living is an experiment, an experience and a focal point for worldwide prosperity, peace and joy of life.
All those who wish to partake of this experiment and experience are welcome to be a part of RishiNiketan, our community living project in our Ashram at Pune (Katarkhadak Hills).
Community Living
"Building a Gurukulam (Ashram) is building a community which is Civil, Entreprising, Religious, Dharmic and Spiritually sublime and beautiful within & outside." - Guruji

Fun Club International
Vision
To make children see the godliness in themselves and in everyone else in the world.
Mission
To impart value education in a very playful and interactive way. To develop in them the practice of turning inwards through play-way methods using the techniques of Children SSY, POI and ISP.
Values
To inspire every child to live with the values of truth, love, peace, responsibility, acceptance, leadership and integrity. Inspiration
The whole team has been inspired by the works of Guruji Rishi Prabhakar, Aurobindo, Satya Sai Baba, Chinmaya Mission and Bappaji. The Fun Club was started by RSVK in the year 1986 in Davangere. It has now spread to all our centres. The purpose of the Fun Club is to allow the inherent love in each individual to blossom and to be transmitted into the environment like the fragrance of a flower. Any game you want to play can be played. The aim is to play the game fully. The only difference being that ‘everyone is a winner’. The spirit is to support everyone to put forth his or her best. The oath is what makes the Fun Club work. lt is: I bring everyone together — ‘I Include everyone.’
I give my best (100%) to the game.
I support everyone else to play their best (100%).
Anybody who wants to join the club is a welcome member. There are no fees. My suggestion to my brother, teachers and volunteers is, if you can walk, you can jog too. lf you can jog, you can have fun, and that’s the Fun Club. You can build a beautiful world with this new programme very easily. We always stress the need for Fun Club. The following letter amply demonstrates this. ‘Fun Club — A Meditation’ The sight of the very young and the very old playing together every day is the most beautiful of human creations (or, activities).
Everyone knows and experiences the immediate spiritual impact of playing together at the Fun Club. Perhaps, at no time in recent history has such an experiment been conducted on such a large scale on a regular basis by any civilisation. So far, fun, somehow, has had to be at the expense of others. The Fun Club has made fun the most spiritual and unselfish of human experiences. lt is at once the life giver to all those who participate in it. Most medical problems, even serious ones, are simply cured through participation in the Fun Club.
A message from Guruji Rishi Prabhakar :
I see, every day, people going to the Fun Club as religiously as they go to a temple. It’s only here that they get to meet gods in flesh and blood. Just the very association with the Fun Club is curative and energising, creating awareness of the bliss that we seek. We realise that we are the bliss we seek. As the person who was entrusted by God to be the founder and formulator of the Fun Club, it gives me great joy to see the way the Fun Club has evolved and progressed around the world; the Fun Club is active in Karnataka, Andhra, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Gujarat, Mahrashtra, Goa, Punjab, Delhi, and some parts of Canada and U.S.A. I have no doubt that the Fun Club is the easy rapid solution to all international and national problems. It is the cure for all problems concerning human relationships, whether it is the management–labour relationship or relationships in the family or in a marriage. Joy is our birthright and our very being.
The Fun Club is the secret to our own being. It is the highest meditation. The Fun Club is the sacrificial fire in which we burn our selfishness and laziness, and receive the ‘nectar of love and joy’.
"Fun Club is your club. By playing in the fun club, you will discover how much love there is in the world." - Guruji

OUTLINE OF THE TOWNSHIP
The Ashram houses a community living project, a school and eco-friendly Rishi-cultured industries apart from the Sadhana and Seva area thus making it a full-fledged township.
Community centre: This is the area where sadhaks live together in cottages or apartments. Community kitchen, indoor and outdoor clubs and other amenities are part of the community area.
Gurukulam: This is where our children learn and enhance themselves in an all-round and holistic manner.
Community project zone: We work together and do environment-friendly enterprises like horticulture, food-processing, renewable energy generation etc. in this zone.
Ashram and Seva area: We meditate together and do all the basic and advanced SSY programmes in this area. Annexed is the area for rural development facilities, such as the village library, a free clinic and free food for all.
Pvt. industries: All entrepreneurs who wish to set up an industry within or in the vicinity of the township premises shall be offered this separate zone on one end of the township. This area also acts as a hands-on training ground for all our children as a part of their hands-on academic curriculum of their academics.
There could be meditators who join the township by paying the booking amount, take a 10 year loan, stay full-time or part time at the township, pay EMI's out of the income from professional services at the township and end up owning the home at the end of a few years.
There could be meditators who stay at the township but spend may be 3 days a week in Mumbai owing to parallel work activities in Mumbai.
There could be meditators whose children are a part of the Gurukulam and stay in the hostel. Such meditators would come over on weekends to meet their children.
Plans & Elevations
Spanning over 151 acres of land, located atop a hillock, the Katarkhadak Ashram is situated amidst breathtakingly wonderful landscape. With forests on the side and a river flowing through the Ashram land, this Ashram is blessed with nature’s bounty. Very close to the Hinjewadi I.T.Park, Katarkhadak Ashram is located approx 22 kms from Wakad, Pune on one side and almost equidistant from Mulshi dam on the other side.
The Ashram houses many a locations for silent sadhana with a large Sadhana hall over and above smaller Sadhana Kutirs and many suitably located tree-houses each of which offers a chance to a sadhak to be by himself absorbed in his stillness. The Ashram also houses a residential school (Rishi Gurukulam) with a huge sports ground, this school being the third of its kind after our Bangalore and Vizag schools.
There is a community living area – Rishi Niketan - which serves as dwellings of many families who have chosen to live joyously together in the Ashram premises, away from the maddening urban life.
More than 900 trees have been planted and fruits and vegetables are grown in-house through the Zero Budget Natural Farming techniques. A Gou-shala supports the whole farming initiative and the land is blessed to have within its fold an ancient auspicious cave (Kanha caves) where Rishi Mandavya is known to have done his Sadhana during his times.
An ongoing Annaprasadkshetra for the inmates and villagers is always active here.
